Ferry traffic

The sister ships Vikare and Nestori are the largest ferries in Finland and owned by the Finnish Transport Agency. They have carrying capacity of 150 tons, a length of 50 meters and a width of 15 meters.

Ferry traffic jam is avoided by continuous driving except during the breaks mentioned in the schedule. In the event of bad weather or a technical fault, the schedule can be deviated or boat traffic can be stopped completely.
